Amazing. Stop googling "best restaurant" and come here. Warning: this place is good so you may need a reservation if you aren't at the door at 5:30. The food: My wife had the coconut curry bowl and described it as "creamy and delicious with excellent flavor" I had the braided beef rib. The meat was melt in your mouth with excellent flavor, and I don't even like vegetables, but I emptied my plate. You have to try the purple cabbage. Wow! The service: Ally and Nathan are top notch, and when the owner is serving you, you get the best service.

A three minute walk from our hotel. Welcoming staff with excellent service provided. The food was served quickly, hot, fresh and well presented. Server was very courteous and attentive throughout the meal. The meal represented good value for such a nice restaurant in these challenging times. We felt like our business was appreciated and we felt good in supporting a locally owned and operated establishment. Five stars in all respects!

Honestly this is a fantastic restaurant with a strong bias towards excellence,quality and value. The menu variety made ordering easy and the taste and quality of the food preparation makes this restaurant my top pick for the area. This restaurant is a winner - so was our server Leanne !!

We are always looking for new places in Parksville as we come here every year. We thought we’d try out the Chameleon for the first time tonight. We were not disappointed the service was friendly and efficient. The food was delicious! We had the Salmon Neptune which was full of shrimp,scallops and salmon covered in a beranaise sauce. It was cooked just right and served with purple cabbage, carrots and we had the rice. For dessert we shared the date sticky pudding with ice cream. It was so moist and yummy! All in all we were very happy with the pleasurable taste and service and affordability.

The food is absolutely exceptional. Honestly the best salmon I have ever had. Strongly recommend the salmon neptune. The apple ribs fell off the bone. The chilli sauce with the coconut prawns was staggeringly good. Unfortunately the recipe is a closly gaurded secret.. Great, friendly service. I'll be back 10/10

Amazing food! We all enjoyed the presentation and flavors! Husband loved the braised ribs; our daughter and I really liked the chicken Neptune. And that dessert!? WOW! Made in-house, the Sticky Date Cake was a perfect choice to end our dinner. Lovely owners and attentive service! For sure we'll be back to this hidden gem in Parksville...fantastic experience!

Truly incredible, one of the best dishes I've had in months! Ordered the Chicken Neptune, you can immediately tell everything is cooked on order, very fresh and hot throughout the meal (especially the chicken!) everything was juicy, perfectly flavourful and complimenting to the entire dish. Every item was well mastered. Will come back again!! Artwork display and dining room also lovely !!
